How to have your data deleted

If you messaged, texted or rang a business

1. Email us

Send an email to info@simplyagentic.com.au with the subject Delete my data. Tell us:

• the name of the business you contacted, and
• how you contacted it: your name as shown on Facebook or Instagram, or the phone number you used.

We may ask one question to make sure we delete the right person's records.

2. What we delete

• Your messages and our replies.
• Your name, phone number and the ID number Meta gave the business for your conversation.
• Your orders and bookings.
• Voice message recordings and their typed copies.
• Photos you sent.

3. When

Within 30 days of your email. We will email you to confirm it is done.

4. What may be kept

A business must keep some records by law, such as a tax invoice. If a record like that has your name on it, the business keeps it for as long as the law requires, and it is used for nothing else.

Deleting a chat in your own Messenger or Instagram app removes it from your phone. It does not remove our copy. Use the email above for that.

If you are a business owner

To disconnect Facebook and Instagram

Either of these works:

• In your back office, open the menu and choose Disconnect Facebook.
• On Facebook, open Settings and privacy, then Settings, then Business integrations. Find Simply Agentic and choose Remove.

From that moment we stop receiving and sending messages for your Page and Instagram account, the access key Meta issued for your Page is deleted, and you are signed out of the back office. When you remove us on Facebook, Facebook tells us automatically.

To delete what we hold

Through Facebook. If you ask Facebook to have Simply Agentic delete your data, Facebook passes the request to us. We delete straight away the records of any business you connected through our Connect page: its settings, its access key and its customers' conversations. Facebook shows you a confirmation code and a link where you can check the request. A business we set up with you by hand is deleted by a person within 30 days.

By email.

Email info@simplyagentic.com.au with the subject Delete my data and the name of your business. Within 30 days we delete your access key, your settings and your customers' conversations, and confirm by email. If you want a copy of your records first, ask in the same email.
